Hi, I'm Elizabeth!
When I started my career in NYC public schools, I watched my students struggle with reading every single day. I saw the frustration on their faces, the parents who were struggling for answers, and the gap between what I knew as an SLP and what my kids actually needed from me.
I knew language was the missing piece. I just didn't know how to use it.
So I did what any determined SLP would: I signed up for every training I could find. And every single time, I walked away feeling like an outsider. The courses were built for teachers. The frameworks weren't designed for our lens. Nobody was speaking our language.
I couldn't find anything built for SLPs. So I built it myself.
Today I'm a doctoral student and adjunct lecturer. Sharing this information is my absolute passion.

How long does this program take? Go at your own pace! The Reading SLP is entirely on demand. You can binge it all at once or break it out into sections over time. Our most successful SLPs complete it within 5 days of enrolling, and if you sat down to do it in one sitting it would take just 3 hours.
When do I get Reading SLP Portal Access? As soon as you complete the on demand Reading SLP training, the portal will automatically be opened up to you! You will remain inside the portal for 3 months and can then choose option to continue your access or graduate as a reading expert.
Will this help me start or scale with private clients? OMG YES. The science of reading movement has created demand and this program will help you meet it. Parents are educated about dyslexia, orthographic mapping, and structured literacy, and they're actively seeking providers who understand the language processing piece. That someone can be you.
