make this the summer you step into literacy leaderershp

Girl, We Are AllWaiting for You Inside!

There are A LOT of generic literacy trainings out there. They are built for classroom teachers. They take 30 hours. They are honestly... boring. This isn't one of them.

This isn't for everyone. It's for you.

The Reading SLP is a one of a kind experience: built by an SLP, for SLPs, where deep clinical mastery meets a community of women who actually get it.

Inside, you'll find the important deets that grad school skipped — rooted in the Science of Reading, built for the complexity of your caseload — and a membership community that will challenge you, sharpen you, and cheer you on.

If you are done playing small and are ready to become known as the best of the best...

The Reading SLP is your next level.

YES, I'M READY. LET'S DO THIS!

here's exactly what shifts

when you finally go all-in

The It Girl Of the LiteracyWorld

Elizabeth Doherty

Language and Literacy Obessed

Founder & CEO

Elizabeth Doherty has been changing the game of literacy since she realized something was deeply wrong: SLPs — the most language-trained professionals in the room — were being left out of the reading conversation entirely.

She grew up inside the world of language and communication, and when she became an ASHA-certified SLP, she expected the field to have answers. What she found instead was a gap so wide it became her life's work to close it. The skills, the science, and the fire that came from that discovery gave her no choice but to stand on the hill that SLPs don't just belong in literacy.... they were built for it.

And thank goodness for that.

Since building her private from the ground up, Elizabeth has been doing three things at once: treating kids in the clinic, teaching the next generation of SLPs at Hunter College, and building The Reading SLP: the first (and only) professional community designed by and for SLPs who are done waiting for someone else to bridge the gap between language science and reading instruction.

Thousands of SLPs across 48 states and 14 countries have learned from her. Her research is moving through a doctoral program at Hunter College CUNY. And her community keeps growing, because the field needed this, and she built it that way.

SLPs are not a footnote in the literacy story. Elizabeth has made it her mission to make sure everyone knows it.

The Reading SLP manifesto

A Reading SLP doesn't wait for the field to catch up.

She leads a revolution.

Her knowledge, her clinical expertise, and the science she carries into every session has the power to change the trajectory of a child's entire life.

She believes in always growing . Because dyslexia doesn't wait. Literacy crises don't wait. And her private practice certainly dreams are certainly done being put on hold.

High-impact is her middle name.

A Reading SLP has a vision: a world where every struggling reader gets the right intervention from someone who actually understands language from the inside out. She articulates that message without apology. She creates her own seat at the table.

She influences the schools, the families, the research, and the field around her for good.

She is not an add-on.

She is not a supplement.

She is the intervention.

I'm a Reading SLP.
